A Time of Transition

Although cognitechnology had been around for over a century, political tensions starting in the late 20000s threatened the fragile peace. Since their discovery, cognichips had been produced by the Divine Dominion, but the rest of the Concert of Stars’ core members grew increasingly uneasy with this arrangement.

To make certain cognichip manufacturing remained in neutral hands outside of political intrigues, the Tshutsi League and the core members of the Concert established TCCMC over 180 years ago at Unidate 20171.9. Our first president was voted the next day.

Njatsina Tshakomara took command and got the company established as the premiere cognichip manufacturer in all of known space, battling through setbacks and always honoring the trust placed in her hands by the Concert.

Over 160 years after Njatsina first took control of TCCMC, Thhakira Tshakomara ascended to the presidency on unidate 26049.2 at the age of 36 after her father stepped down from the position following his successful but modest tenure.

While most experts predicted another quiet period for TCCMC, Tthakira had other plans. She quickly made a name for herself by launching the advertisement “New Leadership,” and TCCMC has never been the same.

The advertisement exploded into an unexpected success that launched Tthakira from the obscurity of TCCMC presidency to the public face of the company and a cultural icon.

Three Thirds Rule

The three thirds rule was established shortly after the founding of TCCMC as a means to maintain its neutrality while also offering market forces to affect it for best long term outcomes.

The rule states that one third of all stocks belong to the Tshutsi League’s state government. Another third can only be sold to citizens of the Lotshutsi system, and the final third can be bought and sold by anyone in known space.

Xenotarian Neutrality

President Tthakira steadfastly advocates for xenotarian neutrality, believing that neutrality cannot in good conscience be maintained without empathy and care toward those in need.

We at TCCMC stand by the ideals of our president. We will remain neutral in interstellar affairs in accordance to the League Assembly’s wishes. But in accordance to our xenotarian principles, we will offer xenotarian assistance and help whenever, where ever, and to whomever needed as stipulated by the Interstellar Rights of Sapience guaranteed under the Orion Accords as well as any required by interstellar laws.
